Talks

Friday Evening on Zoom

Fridays – A Talk "According to Buddha"

These talks are offered by our teachers and are grounded in the teachings of the Buddha. Participants are welcome to suggest topics in advance or on the same day.

Sessions are open to everyone and there will be time for questions and discussion following the talk.

Retreats

Single Day and Multi-day

Day Retreats & Overnight

Our retreats are primarily Insight (Vipassanā) retreats, offering a supportive space for both new and experienced meditators.

  • Day retreats are held periodically at the Mindfulness Center in Chaska

Overnight Retreats @ Metta Meditation Center​

  • Most retreats are three nights, providing a balanced introduction to retreat practice.

  • Some 7-day and 14-day retreats are available annually for those wishing to deepen their meditation journey.

  • Vegan meals are included.

Beginners are warmly welcomed and carefully guided, and experienced practitioners will find ample opportunity to deepen insight and practice.

Yoga

Mindfulness on Move

Yoga offers a gentle and transformative way to explore the body, breath, and mind. Through alignment, based practice, mindful movement, and conscious breathing, yoga supports greater body awareness, balance, and presence. Each practice invites you to reconnect with yourself, cultivate mindfulness, and leave with practical tools to return to the present moment, on and off the mat.

A Space for Inner Listening

This group offers a supportive space for mindful discussion and inner listening, guided by the wisdom of noble friends. Through respectful dialogue, reflection, and shared inquiry, participants learn to listen deeply—to themselves and to one another. Open to all backgrounds and experience levels, the group encourages self-discovery, clarity, and compassion, helping members cultivate insight, presence, and meaningful connection in daily life.
